I just finished the second book, and I need a little reassurance.
I need to know that Sam doesn't die. I can handle Gandalf getting knocked off, or Aragorn, or even Pippin... but not my Sam.
I know it. I know he dies. He dies, doesn't he?
This is far more stress than it's worth.
